About The Event

A datathon, not a hackathon: you bring the questions, we bring the data, the compute, and the caffeine.

Hacklytics is a 36-hour data science hackathon run by Data Science @ Georgia Tech, and the largest event of its kind in the Southeast. Every February, a thousand students take over the Klaus Advanced Computing Building and turn raw datasets into models, visualizations, and arguments worth defending.

You will not be graded on polish. You will be graded on whether the thing works, whether the data supports the claim, and whether you can explain it to a judge in four minutes. Bring a team of up to four, or come alone and find one on Friday night.

  • 01BuildShip a working model, dashboard, or analysis in 36 hours.
